Author's Guidelines

Welcome to the Author’s Guidelines for INSULA. We invite authors from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to submit original and high-quality research manuscripts. Kindly follow the instructions below to ensure that your submission meets the journal’s requirements and proceeds smoothly through the review process.

Manuscript Submission

  1. Originality: Submissions must present original, unpublished work that is not under review or consideration by any other journal.

  2. Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English.

  3. Formatting: Papers should be prepared in Microsoft Word using a standard, legible font such as Times New Roman (12-point size) with consistent formatting throughout.

  4. Length: Articles should generally range between 5,000 and 8,000 words, inclusive of references.

  5. Structure: Manuscripts must be organized in the following order:

    • Title Page: Full title of the paper, author(s) names, institutional affiliations, and complete contact details of the corresponding author.

    • Abstract: A concise summary of 150–250 words outlining the purpose, methodology, key findings, and contributions of the study.

    • Keywords: Up to five relevant keywords representing the core themes of the research.

    • Main Text: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

    • Acknowledgments (if applicable) and Appendix (if required).

Adhering to these standards will facilitate a smooth review process and ensure consistency in publication quality.

References

  • Use APA style for citations and references.
  • Ensure all references cited in the text are listed in the reference section and vice versa.

Submission Procedure

  • Manuscript Submission: Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts through the journal’s designated online submission system. New users may be required to register and create an account before initiating the submission process.
  • Peer-Review Process: All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential to maintain fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity.
  • Revision and Resubmission: Based on the reviewers’ comments and editorial recommendations, authors may be invited to revise their manuscripts. Revised submissions should address all reviewer observations thoroughly and be resubmitted within the specified timeframe.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Indian Authors: ₹2000 per paper
  • Foreign Authors: $100 per paper

No publication fee is charged at the time of submission; payment is required only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Publication Ethics

INSULA is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to ethical principles that promote originality, transparency, fairness, and responsible scholarly conduct.

Frequency of Publication

INSULA publishes 12 issues annually. Accepted manuscripts will be scheduled for publication in the next available issue in accordance with the journal’s publication schedule.
